Samsung Introduces Slimmer S25 Edge with New AI Features
If you've been dreaming of a razor-thin Samsung device, you're in luck. Slim is in.

Samsung Electronics has introduced its latest flagship smartphone, the S25 Edge, emphasizing a slim design and new artificial intelligence capabilities.
The company highlighted the S25 Edge as its thinnest flagship model to date, developed in response to consumer demand for more portable devices, particularly among users in their 20s and 30s.
S25 Edge Specs
According to Samsung, structural modifications were made to internal components, including the printed circuit board and thermal systems, to achieve the reduced thickness of 5.8 millimeters. The S25 Edge features a 6.7-inch screen and will be available starting at $1,099.

The device incorporates Samsung's latest AI functions, including a multimodal AI that allows users to interact through vision and voice in real time, utilizing the camera for contextual queries.
S25 Edge Release Date
Samsung stated that the S25 Edge will go on sale in South Korea on May 23 and in the United States on May 30, with a subsequent rollout to approximately 30 countries.

At the launch, Samsung addressed potential concerns regarding performance and heat management, asserting confidence in the device's ability to operate without overheating due to the engineering of a thinner vapor chamber.
Analysts have noted the timing of the S25 Edge launch in relation to expectations of a thinner iPhone release from Apple in the latter half of the year, suggesting a strategic move to attract consumers interested in slimmer smartphones.
Well, I have to admit that I did not see this one coming. But then again, there's slim jeans, slim sizes for shirts, slim burgers...heck, slim jims. I'm just curious about the Samsung research team. Well, that's it for now. See you guys next time.
