More People Are Signing Up For T-Mobile Home Internet

In its second-quarter earnings report for 2025, T-Mobile reported that it took on about 454,000 high-speed internet customers this quarter. That number is 12% higher than the number it gained during the same three months last year. T-Mobile finished the quarter with 7.3 million high-speed internet customers.

Why People are Switching

A State of Consumer Trust Survey 2025 from Reviews.org shows that many people are checking out 5G internet service, sometimes called fixed wireless internet, as a cheaper choice than regular internet.

According to Peter Holslin, managing editor at Reviews.org, in the survey, "5G internet deals are generally sold at fixed rates, without hidden charges for setup or gear. You often receive other benefits and reduced rates when you combine it with a cell phone plan from the same company.”

Another mention was the simplicity of installation and setup. Not to mention speeds are often sufficient for things like streaming, playing games online, and making video calls.
