Verizon's Plan to Win Back Customers After Price Hikes
To stop more customers from leaving, Verizon may be planning a better deal.

Customers aren't happy that Verizon tried to get rid of their loyalty discounts. Even though it looks like the company is bringing them back, it might be too little, too late for the people who already decided to leave.
A new loyalty program is rumored to be announced in late August. Instead of a fixed amount, the new discounts would be a percentage off your whole account, possibly between 10% and 25%. This would replace the old discounts that are scheduled to end on September 1, and the new offers will reportedly be for some postpaid customers.
Some reports say this new plan was the idea from the start, but because of poor communication, it's been costing them customers. This discount issue is just one of many things that have upset users lately, along with removing perks and raising other fees.
Since Verizon has already been losing customers, they can't afford to have another bad quarter. To keep the situation from getting worse, the company really needs to give customers a clear message.
