Verizon 5G Home Internet Now Available at Target Stores
Making of a Target run? Grab Verizon Home Internet while you're there.
Verizon has launched a $60 monthly Home 5G Internet plan, and customers can now sign up right at Target stores across the country.
Verizon's company, TracFone, started offering the prepaid 5G internet service only through Target locations and Target.com. The monthly charge is $60 and requires buying a special router for a one-time price of $69.99.
This home internet service runs on the Verizon cellular network and comes prepaid with unlimited data. That means users won't ever see extra charges for going over a data limit. The plan also includes a 3-year price guarantee on the base monthly rate.
What Speeds to Expect
TracFone's website says customers can typically expect download speeds between 20 and 200Mbps. The upload speed usually runs from 3-15Mbps. However, for customers who live in 4G zones instead of 5G areas, speeds drop a bit, typically landing between 20 and 50Mbps for downloads.
This new internet option is solely available through Target, making it a unique partnership aimed at getting customers simple, no-contract internet access during their regular shopping trips.
